We are working hard to bring these items to the property we are leasing at the entrance to Hot Springs State Park

FUTURE PLANS
Smoking Waters
Interpretive Center
We are working to build a visitor center at the entrance to Hot Springs State Park- we envision a nicer place where visitors can stop by and learn about the park and what awesome amenities we have in Thermopolis.

Children's Outdoor Learning Area
We envision an area where children can learn about the natural environment and heritage of Hot Springs County through play. We want to build a petroglyph themed climbing wall, with a waterfall, science stations, music stations, art stations, and areas where kids can run, jump, climb, hike, and play in the water!

Adventure Tours
Once we have a facility, we plan to offer tours of our area departing regularly from our site. We want to bring visitors to the park, and then invite them to explore other areas. Some ideas we have for tours include: guided tours of Legend Rock Petroglyph site, local geological tours, Ghost Town tours, Old West tours- just to name a few! The options are endless.

Nature Trails and Bird Watching
Our site is already beautiful! We get a natural wetland on the north end of the property every Spring that is attractive to local wildlife, and our beautiful Wyoming cottonwood trees create an oasis for native plants and animals. We plan to capitalize on that by planting native plants and installing nature trails. Someday, we would love to have a natural pond on the north end with a board walk, and an outdoor event area in the natural rock amphitheater on the far north end of the property.

Public Bathrooms and RV/Bus Parking
While not glamorous, our site is the perfect location to offer a place for visitors and bus companies to stop off in Thermopolis to let their guests use the facilities and take a break to enjoy our park. We plan to provide more bus and RV parking for Hot Springs State Park, without causing congestion in the park itself. We plan to install a large public bathroom and parking area to accommodate these visitors.
